Career

Artist Residency:

  • 2024 Branscombe House Artist-in-Residence

Through this residency, I aim to develop a community-based art project named “(Be) Coming Home” to explore diverse meanings of home. The title has dual meanings: “Becoming Home” signifies my personal journey of finding belonging as a queer immigrant from China; “Coming Home” shows an invitation to the public to engage with the project as collaborators at the Branscombe House, finding a sense of home, through various art activities.

Provincial Event:

  • 2023 BC Culture Days Artist Ambassador

The theme of 2023 BC Culture Days is "A/I/R" which stands for accessibility, inclusion, and resilience. Being selected as one of the artist ambassadors allowed me to further contemplate the responsibilities of being an artist in contemporary society and show care and love through my art.
